What happened after The F Word: Britain's Best Local Restaurant?

Yum Yum, a Thai restaurant at 187 Stoke Newington High Street in north London, lost the Thai heat of Britain's Best Local Restaurant on Gordon Ramsay's The F Word (Channel 4) in the episode "Thai Restaurants" shown on 2009-12-01, scoring 62 out of 100 against 82 for Simply Thai of Teddington, according to Wikipedia. The restaurant's website describes it as serving authentic Thai cuisine since 1992 and lists a la carte, group, kids, drinks, dessert, vegan and gluten-free menus, along with a bar called the Orchid Lounge. When read on 2026-10-20, the site gave dine-in hours for every day of the week, labelled its a la carte, group and kids menus September 2026, linked a 2026 Christmas menu, offered table booking, and named Uber Eats as its only delivery service. Dishes shown there include satay king prawns, lobster pad prik pao, som tum and a mixed platter.
