What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?

The 2013-02-22 episode of You Gotta Eat Here! (season 2, episode 4) featured Asian-style waffles at Miura Waffle Milk Bar in Vancouver, according to the TVmaze episode listing. A review by blogger Michael Kwan, published 2012-04-16, described a small counter-service shop at 829 Davie Street in downtown Vancouver that sold waffle sandwiches it called sandos. The sweet versions included banana caramel and cookies and cream, the savoury ones included bulgogi and wasabi salmon, and the milk bar side sold yogurt drinks and flavoured milks. A Vancouver Mom post published 2014-05-09 covered a Miura outlet at 2521 Main Street offering waffle sandwiches, milkshakes and beer; the post's title and metadata carry a CLOSED label, and the page was last modified 2018-03-25. A public Google Maps listing for the Davie Street address was marked permanently closed when checked on 2026-10-19.
