What happened after The Hotel Inspector?
Fraser's, a family business at 5 Maltings Road, Battlesbridge, in Essex, was the subject of series 19, episode 8 of The Hotel Inspector (Channel 5), aired 2024-05-23. According to TVmaze's episode summary, sisters Georgie and Frankie run a six-bedroom guest house, tea rooms and an events business on the grounds of an antiques business their grandmother Sheila started in the early 1970s. The summary describes five years of barely turning a profit, with the sisters earning less than minimum wage and hosting only three weddings a year, and says Alex Polizzi's task was to show them how to build the best budget wedding venue in the area. TVmaze also lists the sisters in an earlier appearance on Channel 4's Four in a Bed, in an episode it dates 2021-03-11.
The business's website is frasersbattlesbridge.co.uk, and the older address frasersguesthouse.co.uk redirects there. The site, viewed on 2026-10-19, describes a guest house with six rooms, the Frasers Tea Rooms, marquee hire, weddings, wakes and a Women of Worth networking group. Its events page lists dated events for 2026, including Halloween biscuits on 29 October, Breakfast, Tea and Tarot on 5 November, the Battlesbridge Annual Firework Spectacular on 7 November, and Biscuits for Father Christmas on 24 December. The home page footer still reads copyright 2023, and the website does not mention the television appearance. A Google Places record lists Frasers Guest House at The Old Granary, 5 Maltings Road, with an operational business status. None of the sources read describe changes made after filming.
Wikipedia's list of The Hotel Inspector episodes records the episode as Frazer's, aired 23 May 2024.
