Saxonia Guest House is a small guest house in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. Wikipedia's list of The Hotel Inspector episodes (read 2026-10-19) describes the series 2 episode, aired 2006-07-06, as a visit to a dated eight-bed guest house whose owners had run out of ideas. Ruth Watson was the inspector.
A Google Maps listing for Saxonia at 95 Locking Road, Ashcombe (BS23 3EW), checked 2026-10-19, is marked operational. Trip.com's page for Saxonia Guest House at the same address, read 2026-10-19, lists twin, single and family rooms with availability buttons and 47 verified reviews, but the only review dated there was posted 2024-10-30. In that review a guest wrote that the website said the property was permanently closed; the Trip.com page itself carries no closure notice. Kayak's page for the guest house, read 2026-10-19, shows the same address and no closure notice or review dates.
Those listings conflict, and no 2026 page from the guest house itself turned up, so nothing read settles whether it is taking guests today.
A Google Maps listing checked 2026-10-20 shows Saxonia at 95 Locking Road with no review newer than about a year and no room rates, only a note to contact the property; a Booking.com search the same day did not list it. A Trip.com guest review dated October 2024 described it as permanently closed, and the saxoniaguesthouse.co.uk address now carries a generic guide to Weston-super-Mare stays rather than the guest house's own site.
